<p>1. Cut the focus fabric: 1 rectangle (back) at 5 3/4&#8243; by 3 3/4&#8243;</p>
<p>2 rectangles(front panels) at 5 3/4&#8243; by 2&#8243;</p>
<p>2. Cut the accent fabric: 2 rectangles at 5 3/4&#8243; by</p>
<p>2 1/2&#8243;</p>
<p>3. With 2 focus panels and 2 accent panels right sides together, sew a 1/4 &#8221; seam. Press, then turn accent fabric over seam and press. Embellish the accent fabric with embroidery stitches, or just stitch in the seam to secure the trim from shifting.</p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><a href="http://rhondashand.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/th-step-2-stitch-iron-and-fold-over3.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-86 aligncenter" style="border:black 8px solid;margin:10px;" src="http://rhondashand.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/th-step-2-stitch-iron-and-fold-over3.jpg?w=168&#038;h=132" alt="" width="168" height="132" /></a></p>
<p>4. Lay panels on right side of back fabric, overlapping the accent trim so they are stacked one on top of the other. Pin all the way around and sew a 1/4&#8243; seam, first along the long ends, then along the short ends.  Heat set the seams.</p>
<p style="text-align:center;">
<p style="text-align:center;"><a href="http://rhondashand.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/th-step-3-overlap-panels-pin-and-sew3.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-87 aligncenter" style="border:black 8px solid;margin:10px;" src="http://rhondashand.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/th-step-3-overlap-panels-pin-and-sew3.jpg?w=191&#038;h=250" alt="" width="191" height="250" /></a></p>
<p>5. Trim all the edges to 1/4&#8243; of seam, then trim the corners on the diagonal.<a href="http://rhondashand.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/th-step-4-trim-corners2.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-88 alignleft" style="border:black 8px solid;margin:10px;" src="http://rhondashand.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/th-step-4-trim-corners2.jpg?w=179&#038;h=138" alt="" width="179" height="138" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://rhondashand.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/th-step-5-turn-and-press3.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-89" style="border:black 8px solid;margin:10px;" src="http://rhondashand.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/th-step-5-turn-and-press3.jpg?w=159&#038;h=124" alt="" width="159" height="124" /></a></p>
<p>6. Turn right sides out, using a point turner, then press one last time.</p>
<p>7. Insert a tissue package. The best size is 8.6&#8243; by 8.3&#8243;.</p>
